Description
The Evacuation Chair features an advanced tracked design that allows single-person operation. This reduces health and safety concerns during use and allows for a smooth ascent or descent of stairs.
Two stationary rear wheels enable the chair to be moved over most surfaces with minimal effort.
Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
Evacuation Chairs are Class 1 Medical Devices and are therefore subject to PUWER which covers all safety-critical emergency equipment in the work place. Regular maintenance is a legal requirement to ensure they function flawlessly during an evacuation event, and should undergo servicing at least once every 12 months to strictly comply with UK PUWER.
