This is a supplementary first aid kit and is in addition to the mandatory Forestry England Compliant Personal Forestry Kit, which should be carried on the person, by forestry workers using chainsaws, at all times.

The Standard Forestry and Chainsaw First Aid Kit is suitable for forestry workers, tree surgeons and arborists. The kit has a comprehensive content to cover a small team of workers with more dressings, gloves and eye wash available than a standard first aid kit.

HSE Workplace first aid guidelines apply to any workplace, both indoors and out. Employers must provide comprehensive first aid cover for forestry workers, such as arborists and tree surgeons in all situations and should be available to employees at all times.

Current Forestry England guidelines also require Forestry and Chainsaw workers to carry a Mandatory Personal Forestry First Aid Kit, which includes a Haemostatic Bandage, Application Tourniquet and Whistle, at all times.
