The BS8599-1:2019 Compliant Critical Injury Pack is specifically designed to provide essential equipment for the treatment of severe bleeding and traumatic injuries. Developed in response to growing concerns around major incident and mass casualty risks, it is the first pack of its kind to meet the latest BSI standards.

The BS8599-1:2019 Critical Injury Pack is intended for use when managing life-threatening injuries, and is particularly suited to higher-risk sectors such as manufacturing, machinery operations, construction, and forestry. Supplied fully stocked, it contains key items to control significant blood loss, including a Compact Military Tourniquet and Haemostatic Dressings.

Our standard pack is recommended for areas assessed as lower risk. It includes haemostatic dressings, trauma dressings, and a compact military-style tourniquet with a durable aluminium rod.

We strongly advise carrying out a thorough needs assessment to determine the appropriate number of Critical Injury Packs required. Consideration should be given to both employees and members of the public who may be present on site at any time.

Our BS8599-1:2019 Compliant Critical Injury Pack is a supplementary kit. These kits are an additional provision to the workplace first aid regulations.
