Description
The Forestry First Aid Kit is suitable for forestry workers, tree surgeons and arborists. The kit has a comprehensive content to cover a small team of workers with more dressings, gloves and eye wash available, than a standard first aid kit.
HSE Workplace first aid guidelines apply to any workplace, both indoors and out. Employers are required to provide comprehensive first aid cover for forestry workers, such as arborists and tree surgeons in all situations. These supplies should be available to employees at all times.
The first aid kit content is based on the BS8599 workplace first aid kits but has further products, suitable for injuries likely to occur in forestry.
In addition to this kit, forestry workers are mandated to carry a more comprehensive, Forestry England Personal First Aid Kit. The Forestry England Personal First Aid Kit should be carried by the person at all times, whilst using a chainsaw. Make sure you have received suitable training on using its contents. It should contain at least one or more Haemostatic Dressings, a Combat Type Tourniquet and a Whistle. A worksite first aid kit should also be located at a central location.
Our Forestry First Aid Kit Bag is compact, and versatile and can be carried via shoulder or belt strap when working remotely. The belt strap folds neatly away behind a Velcro pad when not required.
